Rom-coms have always been a big part of my life. I love watching light-hearted stories of people falling in love and one of my first theater experiences was watching Sleepless in Seattle in theaters (which is probably why it remains my favorite romantic comedy to this day).

Romantic comedies are one of my favorite genres, and I decided to start reviewing them for fun in 2018 on Letteboxd. Well, I had fun doing that, so I started a rom-com blog titled It Was Like Magic. That soon blossomed and turned into The Rom Com Catalog. It’s been 7 years of this site, and I’m still growing. I also write for Screenage Wasteland (as Romona Comet) and occasionally guest on the Canon Podcast.

Review Inquiries: I try to stay as honest as I can in all of my reviews and they are all based on my personal opinions of the movies and how much enjoyment I did or did not take away from them. I am open to reviewing screeners, but please keep in mind that this is a hobby for me so other aspects of my life take priority.
