  • Filmed during the COVID-19 pandemic, and because of Canada's COVID restrictions during production, non-cast members couldn't cross the border unless they were there for work. Kathy Najimy wanted her husband, Dan Finnerty, to join her in Canada for filming, and writer Chad Hodge agreed to cast him after realizing Finnerty was part of the Dan Band, a musical comedy group created by Finnerty, known for its obscenity-filled covers of pop songs, making him perfect to write and perform the film's ending song, "Single All the Way."
