Thursday Movie Picks: Seasons in Title: Wandering through the Shelves hosts a weekly movie challenge in which you choose 3-5 movies based on that Thursday’s theme and explain why you chose those movies. Today’s theme is Seasons in Title, so here are my choices! What would your picks be? Drop a comment below!

INDIAN SUMMER (1993)

I haven’t seen this movie since I was a kid, but I remember enjoying it! A great ensemble (Diane Lane, Bill Paxton, Elizabeth Perkins, Sam Raimi, Alan Arkin, etc.!) leads this dramedy about a group of people who return to their beloved summer camp 20 years later to say goodbye before it closes for good.

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (1999)

A lovely, whimsical take on one of the Bard’s most famous plays, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This movie also has a fantastic cast and is a joy to watch. Also, Stanley Tucci as Puck? Brilliant!

I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER (1997)

Perhaps an easy choice, but hey, this movie is campy fun with the quintessential ’90s cast. Not the greatest horror movie, but I think it’s still something of a cult classic, right?? Okay maybe not a classic, but still. Entertaining and SMG’s chase scene could rival some of the best chase scenes in Scream.

What do you think?

I have not seen Amy of these but I’d be interested in seeing the first 2. I love A Midsummer Night’s Dream and love Stanley Tucci
